Free Blogging Course

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or email updates. ---> Thanks for visiting!

I’m evaluating a multi-media course on blogging from the folks at Simpleology. For a while, they’re letting you snag it for free if you post about it on your blog.

It covers:

  • The best blogging techniques.
  • How to get traffic to your blog.
  • How to turn your blog into money.

I’ll let you know what I think once I’ve had a chance to check it out. Meanwhile, go grab yours while it’s still free.

    Hi Cathy,
I have been getting your newsletters for a few years now and you are a credible and helpful asset for me. I often, every newsletter, click on your suggestions, take some, leave many. I had Bent thinking about blogging for awhile, wasn’t sure if it was worth my time and effort, then your brief newsletter or email about blogging and marketing arrived. it convinced me to move forward and in Nov. I started mine with blogspot.com, one of your recommendations.

I really enjoy the ease of blogging about thoughts and events that pop up, that my website could never allow. All that HTML stuff takes too much time for a quick link and comment that the blogger eats up.

Thank you for sharing all that you do and for doing it in a way that is both encouraging and enthusiastic. I look forward to your feedback on the Simpleology course, as after going to the link they provide I have no idea what they offer! you do the work.

    Hi Cathy

I am an admirer of your work. I discovered your blogs in the process of developing my own blogs in the past few months. When I came across this posting about the free blogging course, naturally I got excited and signed up. I would really like to know your thoughts on it, because after checking into it, I immediately removed the post and all references to it from my blog. It’s obviously misleading. Instead of the blogging “knowledgeware” I was expecting, it appears to be a bloated and overly complicated online life-coaching type of product with no relation to blogging that I can find. Sure, some people might be interested and even get something of value from it, but it is not what its creators claim it to be. It’s the old bait and switch! I’m angry and disappointed to say the least.

    From one blogger to another.

The blogging course is offered by Mark Joyner, so there is a big push for the Simpleology program. However, you do not need to sign up for that or pay anything.

Once you are logged in, look in the right column under “Electives.” You will find the blogging course there. It is very basic, but it provides a good introduction to blogging.

Hi Cathy: Read about your blog through small pub group on yahoo. I also took the Simpleology course and I’m new to bogging, book marketing, etc, but I got a lot of good info out of it. I’m implementing bits and ieces of it on an ongoing basis. So for myself, it was quite helpful. Elaine
